2018 FIFA World Cup Drone Film

This spot has been a massive creative journey within a small but strong team.. I had the opportunity to help design the drone shells which then I modeled, textured and look dev. with various looks to differentiate the age and condition of the drones, along with lighting and rendering shots. I also did textures and look dev on the crowd, UV'd and textured the stadium.
I was also involved in creating some pipeline tools to make it easier and faster to set up shots to render in Houdini, Arnold. I used Substance Painter and Mari to create textures. ZBrush for concepting/designing. Maya for modeling/UV.
The hero drone shell was 3D printed by Legacy Effects and used in some shots practically.
Work was done at Blacksmith.
